Why ‘Parks’?

Parks (in plural) is how NTP envisages the future of Viking storytelling in Denmark. Fully realizing that Viking theme parks will one day be major Danish attractions, we aim to contribute by creating strong, multi-faceted gamification experiences, based on our own unique, post-Ragnarok universe. Called ‘The Yggdrasil Chronicles, this fascinating world, touching on Norse Mythology will be peopled by humans, Gods and other legendary creatures. 

Along the way we expect to meet other enterprising individuals pursuing their own dream-park ambitions. All doing their very best to put the Vikings of the Kingdom of Denmark on the adventurer’s world map. One day – as a collective force - we may be able to do for Denmark what Game of Thrones has done for Ireland! Building Scandinavia’s first Norse Mythology fantasy theme park; Yggdrasil – The Legendary world of Norse mythology.

Like any start-up company, we are looking to the future by marketing customized, Viking inspired events. We are ready to embrace and negotiate with any dedicated enterprises and institutions with an interest in creating stronger brands, forging sturdier bonds between employees or local residents, and offering new opportunities to socialise, learn and develop.

Why ‘Norse Theme’?

The words ‘Norse Theme’ do not suggest a single story line; NTP can create so many customized Viking events, in so many places. From locations on Zealand, Bornholm and Læsø, to Suderø in the Faroes and Kujataa in Greenland, the Kingdom of Denmark is our playground and our inspiration.

NTP events and exhibitions are not site-specific; we can build bridges between history, folklore and fantasy virtually anywhere; indeed, only our imagination sets boundaries. By adding experiences, storytelling and edutainment to the communication mix, we can propel countryside, park or city attractions into the spotlight for any lengths of time.
